Another Day in Paradise

November. It's here. The darkest month of the year. There is nothing in November that can get me even slightly excited about anything. During the past days it has been so utterly grey every day that I keep thinking the time has stopped and all we've got left is the foggy and ugly autumn. Please, let there be some snow soon or I won't be able to come out of the bed anymore.

This month is also gonna be an another experimental month - my aim is to live on 800kr (slightly over 80€) food budget. Considering the prices here it's a very little amount of money. But hey, why not suffer just a little bit more?

I'm also gonna try to cut other expenses or at least do my best. I can't do anything about the rent although it is tempting to let the landlord know that I will only paying half of the rent as an experiment. But I can cut down on books, going to the movies, nail polish.... Don't buy. That's the slogan for this month. But ironically I started off by doing some shopping. Yes. I spent whole 85kr (about 9€)! For my defence I have to say that I got quite a lot for that amount of money, at least weight wise. Glass weighs a lot.
