To be honest, after the disastrous trip from Malmö to home I actually had the most relaxing holiday I have ever had. Even despite the fact that I was working around 32 hours a week!
I got to Finland at 7am on Wednesday morning before Xmas. My mum picked me up from the Turku harbour and have to admit I was feeling really sorry for her because for the whole 2 hour drive home I babbled about International Relations and Malmö and people she had never met and who knows what while she didn't get a chance to say a word. Luckily I calmed down when we got home and my monologue turned into a dialogue.
The next day I already went to work - the Xmas chaos! Then we had a lovely Christmas Eve and Day although I really missed my big sister who spent the Xmas in Estonia.
The best thing about the whole holiday was that my mum was home all the time. That never happened when we were kids and so it was very weird to see her so relaxed (leaving out her pain of course). We watched the whole last season of Lost together and all sorts of other crime series and talked a lot and just had this great bonding time together. I'm gonna miss that.
It was also lovely to be with my lil sis and bro! ♥
And of course spend time with all my lovely friends! I managed to meet all of them and I gotta admit we had lots of fun. It's so odd to think that I have been blessed with so gorgeous friends both in Finland and also here in Sweden. And then there are more gorgeous friends shattered around the Europe :)
Anyway, the holiday was amazing because I just got to be without any stress - okay, I did stress about the one essay we had to finish for the 10th of January - and spend time with the people I so deeply love.
And now I'm back here. The adventure of Malmö shall continue...
I also started a Sugar Free year 2011 which today turned into a Less Sugar 2011 ;)
( I'm just eating this gorgeous little (100ml and 238 calories!) thing :D )
