I finally visited the oh so famous Ikea and indeed it is a very interesting place. I mean it was Sunday evening when I finally got there and the place was full of families shopping, eating and having a good time like they were in a zoo or something. One lady there was actually taking a nap at the Bedroom area! I should try that next time. Well, what else can I say about the Ikea. It's HUGE! I even got lost there and the food there is cheap (I had organic pancakes with cheese and spinach - 2€) like pretty much everything else. And they are really good making you "need" things you didn't even know exist! I managed to stay rational and I came home with only four things I had planned to buy anyway. I've heard here that some people will only get their furniture from Ikea but I'm gonna look around and see what the other places have to offer. But I did calculate that from Ikea I could get a sofa bed, table for two, two chairs and a floor lamp for 390€...
(Many bus stops in Malmö look like this - disgusting!)
After Ikea I got some milk and cheese from Lidl and spent time waiting for another bus. It took me an hour to get to Ikea although it's not actually that far from where I live. But I missed the bus stop where I was supposed to change the buses cos I was too busy looking out of the window and so I had to go all the way to the city center to crab the right bus (nr 7) which took me all the way to Ikea. And it took me 1h 30min to get back home. I suppose I gotta start carrying a book with me like a really cool hip hop dude on the bus did.
And now my world is getting dark again - it's evening and I still don't have that lamp I so desperately need!
